It’s the most delicious summer snack to enjoy with your wine, ouzo or frozen raki.

Ingredients:
300g feta
2 ripe tomatoes
100ml tomato juice
1 green pepper
1 yellow pepper
1 dried onion
1 clove of garlic
20ml olive oil
50ml white wine
1 pinch of sugar
A little oregano
Salt & pepper
½ tablespoon parsley

Method:
First wash the vegetables, tomatoes, peppers and cut into small pieces. In a deep frying pan heat the olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic (finely chopped).
Add the peppers and stir until slightly browned. Quench with wine and allow to evaporate. Add the tomatoes and the tomato sauce and spices. Bake at moderate temperature for 10 minutes.
Remove from the heat and add the feta cut into large cubes. Transfer to an earthenware dish or a Pyrex and continue baking in the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes until it turns brown.
Serve hot. Ideally suited to grilled meat or roasted fish.


Tips:
You can add 1 hot pepper to this dish if you like it a little spicier.
Boil spaghetti (penne, screws or bows) or serve with French fries then you’ll have both an appetizer and a main course immediately.
